Job description
Location: Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire Start Date: As soon as possible An Exciting Opportunity to Inspire the Next Generation of Athletes A highly regarded co-educational school in Beaconsfield is seeking a passionate and dedicated Male PE Teacher to join its outstanding Sports Department. This is an exciting opportunity to teach Physical Education from KS3 to KS5, working with motivated, high-achieving students in a school that values both academic and athletic excellence. The department regularly organises training camps, competitions, and sports tours both domestically and internationally to further enhance students' experiences. The school is equally committed to staff well-being , offering a range of benefits such as: ‘ME days’ for personal events Free flu vaccinations and eye tests Complimentary breakfast and lunch A supportive and collaborative working environment Key Responsibilities Deliver high-quality PE lessons from KS3 to KS5 , ensuring students develop their skills and understanding in a range of sports. Specialise in coaching boys' sports , including football, rugby, cricket, athletics, or other competitive and recreational activities. Encourage students to develop teamwork, resilience, and a lifelong appreciation for physical activity and health . Design and implement engaging and inclusive lesson plans that cater to students of all abilities. Play an active role in the school’s extracurricular sports programme , coaching teams, organising fixtures, and running fitness initiatives. Foster a positive and inclusive sporting culture where all students feel encouraged to participate. Candidate Requirements Degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related field. Formal teaching qualification with QTS (e.g., PGCE). Experience coaching or teaching boys' sports at school or club level. Passion for sports education and promoting physical well-being. Strong communication and classroom management skills. Commitment to fostering an engaging and inclusive learning environment.
