Job description
We are working with a leading mixed secondary school in Central London (Camden) recruiting for a professional School Receptionist. As the face of the school, you will be responsible for creating a warm and scholarly first impression for all visitors and stakeholders. The School This "Outstanding" secondary school in Camden is a hub of academic excellence. It serves a diverse central London community and prides itself on its disciplined and inclusive atmosphere. The school features a modern, high-tech reception area and a supportive administrative faculty that values professional growth and efficient service. The Role This is a permanent, full-time position for an ASAP start. You will act as the first point of contact, ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the school’s front office. Key responsibilities include: Welcoming all visitors and managing the digital sign-in system in line with safeguarding protocols. Managing a busy switchboard and directing calls to various academic departments. Dealing with student enquiries, including late arrivals and attendance logging via SIMS/Arbor. Handling sensitive parent communications with discretion and a professional manner. Providing general administrative support, including mail distribution and report preparation. Salary & Benefits Salary Range: £32,500 – £36,500 (Inner London Scale) Full-time, Permanent contract with an ASAP start. Central location with excellent transport links via tube and rail.
