Job description
Our client is seeking a dedicated Religious Education Teacher to join a highly prestigious independent school in central St Albans. This is an excellent opportunity to work in an Outstanding school with exceptional academic performance and student behaviour. Location: St Albans Contract: Full-time Salary: MPS/UPS (Paid to scale) Start Date: ASAP Key Responsibilities Teach Religious Education across the appropriate key stages. Inspire and engage students in exploring religious, philosophical, and ethical issues. Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the national curriculum. Support students’ academic and personal development. Contribute to the wider school community and departmental initiatives. Candidate Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) (e.g., PGCE or equivalent). Strong subject knowledge in Religious Education. Passion for teaching and an ability to engage and inspire students. Experience teaching GCSE and A-Level Religious Education is desirable. Legal right to work in the UK.
