Job description

Innovative and inclusive teaching approaches with a strong emphasis on the development of every child OFSTED-rated ‘Outstanding’ – Recognised for its commitment to high standards and creating an engaging learning environment State-of-the-art facilities and resources that make learning fun and interactive A dedicated and passionate team of teachers who work collaboratively to create a nurturing school environment Opportunities for career development , including progression into leadership roles or subject specialism Your Role: Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons that support Year 1 students in developing essential skills in literacy, numeracy, and social-emotional learning Personalise learning to cater to the diverse needs of students, including differentiated activities and targeted interventions for students requiring additional support Track and assess students’ academic progress regularly, providing feedback to students and parents to guide future learning Foster a safe, engaging environment where students feel encouraged to take risks and develop their self-confidence Actively contribute to the whole-school community through extracurricular activities and participation in school-wide events Support students in their transition from Reception to Year 1, ensuring a smooth and positive experience for all What We’re Looking For: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and previous teaching experience in Key Stage 1 A passion for early childhood education and creating opportunities for hands-on, creative learning Strong understanding of phonics, early literacy, and numeracy strategies Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a commitment to building positive relationships with students, staff, and parents An ability to create an environment where all children can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally A commitment to ongoing professional development and a drive to improve your teaching practice What’s in It for You?
