Job description
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated KS1 Teacher to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Lambeth. This full-time role starts after the February half term 2025 and offers a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact in a supportive environment. The Role Start Date: After February Half Term 2025 Location: Lambeth Contract Type: Full-Time, Temporary (until July 2025) The School This vibrant and community-focused primary school in Lambeth prides itself on creating an engaging and inclusive learning environment. With a strong leadership team and a focus on collaboration, the school provides excellent professional development opportunities and fosters a positive, child-centered approach to learning. Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging and creative lessons in line with the KS1 National Curriculum. Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment where all pupils can thrive. Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback to support development. Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure high-quality teaching and learning across KS1. Maintain strong communication with parents and carers to support pupil progress and well-being. Contribute to the school community, participating in staff meetings, CPD opportunities, and school events. Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Experience teaching in Key Stage 1 (Year 1 or Year 2). A strong understanding of the KS1 National Curriculum and assessment strategies. Excellent classroom management and communication skills. A passion for education and a commitment to ensuring all pupils reach their full potential. A team player who enjoys working in a collaborative and supportive school environment.
