Job description
Music Teacher Wandsworth Full-Time, Permanent Opportunity A dynamic secondary school in Wandsworth is seeking a passionate and skilled Music Teacher to join its thriving Music department. This is a full-time, permanent position offering the chance to inspire students and contribute to a vibrant school community with a strong tradition in the performing arts. The successful Music Teacher will have excellent opportunities. You Are: A qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent). Experienced in teaching Music at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. (KS5 experience is desirable, but not required). Proficient in at least one musical instrument and/or voice. An inspiring educator with a love of music. An excellent classroom practitioner. A collaborative individual. Committed to student success. Dedicated to professional growth. You Will: The Music Teacher will undertake: Plan and deliver engaging Music lessons. Differentiate instruction for all learners. Assess student progress and provide feedback (written and practical). Maintain accurate records. Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment. Collaborate with colleagues. Contribute to extra-curricular music (choirs, bands, orchestras, etc.). Organize and prepare students for performances. Communicate with parents/guardians.
