Your Day-to-Day Impact · To teach A-level Chemistry in line with the AQA syllabus; · To plan and develop engaging, comprehensive lessons that cater to different learning styles and abilities; · Manage student behaviour and engagement in line with College behaviour policy · To set and mark assignments, monitoring student progress and providing feedback to help students improve their performance and prepare them for the A-level exams; · To maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress and grades; · To write reports and communicate with parents about student progress; · To contribute to departmental development through participation in curriculum planning, quality assurance, internal verification of student work and professional development activities. Is This You? · A degree in Chemistry or a related field; · Familiarity with current research and advancements to keep lessons relevant and interesting; · Excellent organisational, planning and communication skills; Skill in explaining difficult ideas in a way that is accessible to students.
