Your Role: 🔹 Deliver engaging and accessible Humanities lessons tailored to students’ individual needs. 🔹 Use creative and differentiated teaching strategies to support diverse learning styles. 🔹 Foster a positive, structured classroom environment where students feel safe and encouraged. 🔹 Work closely with SENCOs, support staff, and therapists to provide a holistic education. 🔹 Monitor and track student progress, providing individualised support where needed. 🔹 Encourage students’ critical thinking, curiosity, and independence through Humanities subjects. What We’re Looking For: ✅ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. ✅ Experience teaching Humanities (History, Geography, or RE), ideally in an SEN setting. ✅ Strong understanding of SEN teaching strategies and differentiation techniques. ✅ A patient, adaptable, and inspiring teaching approach. ✅ Excellent communication and teamwork skills. ✅ An Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
