Job description
Location: Yorkshire Contract: Permanent, Full-Time | Start: ASAP Salary: M1 (ECT scale) Your new school A vibrant secondary school in Yorkshire with a strong commitment to physical education, student wellbeing, and competitive sport. The PE department is well-resourced and highly supportive of Early Career Teachers. Your new role Delivery: Teaching PE across KS3 and KS4, with opportunities to support extracurricular sport. Engagement: Promoting teamwork, resilience, and healthy lifestyles. Development: Working closely with a PE mentor through the ECT induction programme. Contribution: Supporting fixtures, clubs, and enrichment activities. What you’ll need to succeed QTS (or on track to achieve QTS) in Physical Education. Enthusiasm for sport, fitness, and student development. Strong organisational and communication skills. Willingness to contribute to the wider life of the school.
