Business and Economics Teacher - Dual Specialism Opportunity in Wandsworth An Outstanding school in Wandsworth is seeking a versatile and enthusiastic teacher to join their team as a Business and Economics Teacher . This is a unique opportunity to teach across two closely related disciplines and make a significant impact on students' understanding of the commercial and economic world. What the Role Entails: This Business and Economics Teacher position, with remuneration on the MPS/UPS scale, will involve: Teaching both Business and Economics to Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5 students. Developing and delivering engaging lessons that cover a broad range of topics within both subject areas. Creating a dynamic and interactive learning environment that fosters critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Preparing students for relevant qualifications (e.g., GCSE, A-Level, BTEC). Assessing student progress and providing targeted feedback. Working at an Outstanding school. The Ideal Candidate Profile: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in either Business or Economics (or both). Proven experience teaching both Business and Economics at the secondary level. A strong understanding of both subject areas and the ability to make connections between them. Excellent communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.
