PPA Teacher – Dudley

Support Learning Across the School We are seeking a reliable, adaptable, and enthusiastic PPA Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Dudley, starting as soon as possible. This is a unique opportunity to work across multiple classes and year groups, providing high-quality teaching while class teachers are released for planning, preparation, and assessment (PPA) time. As a PPA Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons across the curriculum, ensuring continuity and consistency in pupils’ learning. This role is ideal for a teacher who enjoys variety, thrives in a collaborative environment, and has the flexibility to work across Key Stages 1 and 2. You will be an integral part of the teaching team, contributing to the smooth running of the school and supporting pupils in achieving their full potential. The successful candidate will work closely with teaching assistants, phase leaders, and class teachers to deliver lessons that are engaging, structured, and tailored to the needs of all learners. Key Responsibilities Deliver pre-planned lessons across various year groups during PPA time Maintain high expectations for behaviour and learning in each class Adapt teaching where necessary to meet the needs of all pupils, including SEND and higher-attaining learners Support pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development Collaborate with class teachers to ensure continuity of learning Provide feedback on pupil progress and classroom dynamics Contribute to school initiatives and participate in staff meetings and CPD Maintain a safe, structured, and stimulating learning environment This role allows you to teach across multiple year groups while making a meaningful impact on pupils’ learning and engagement.
