Year 3 Teacher – Exciting Opportunity in Waltham Forest We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Year 3 Teacher for a fantastic 2-form entry school in Waltham Forest, starting in September 2025 . This is a full-time, permanent position. Interviews will be held as soon as possible. Year 3 Teacher Role Start Date: September 2025 Location: Waltham Forest Working Hours: Full-Time Contract Type: Permanent The School This welcoming and high-achieving primary school in Waltham Forest is looking for an enthusiastic and committed Year 3 Teacher to join their team. Year 3 Teacher Responsibilities Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and creative lessons in line with the National Curriculum. Create a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment that encourages a love for learning. Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback and setting clear learning goals. Encourage critical thinking, problem-solving, and independent learning. Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents to ensure every child thrives. Participate in staff meetings, training, and school activities to contribute to the wider school community. Year 3 Teacher Requirements Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Previous experience teaching in Key Stage 2 (preferably Year 3 or similar year group). Strong understanding of the National Curriculum and effective assessment strategies. Passion for creating an engaging and inclusive learning environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A team player with a positive and flexible approach. Commitment to continuous professional development and best teaching practices.
