Job description
Start Date: January 2026 Location: Cambridge About the Role: We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Science Teacher to join a highly successful faculty in a Cambridge school rated ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted . This is an exciting opportunity to inspire students across KS3, KS4, and KS5, with the chance to specialise in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics at A-Level. As a Science Teacher, you will play a vital role in fostering curiosity, analytical thinking, and a love for scientific discovery. Key Responsibilities: Teach engaging Science lessons across KS3–KS5. Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level examinations, ensuring high achievement. Contribute to enrichment activities such as STEM clubs, competitions, and science trips. Monitor and track student progress, implementing targeted support. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Science curriculum. Promote an enthusiasm for scientific exploration and practical work. About the School: This large 11–18 school has around 1,400 students. Renowned for its exceptional outcomes in STEM subjects, the school benefits from state-of-the-art laboratories, specialist teaching facilities, and a culture of academic rigour.
