Maths Teacher – Excellent SEN School – Croydon 📍 Location: Croydon 📅 Start Date: April 2024 📄 Contract: Full-Time, Permanent 💰 Salary: MPS/UPS + SEN Allowance (dependent on experience) Are you a passionate and dedicated Maths Teacher looking to make a real impact in an SEN setting ? A well-resourced and welcoming SEN school in Croydon is seeking a committed educator to join their team in April. This is an exciting opportunity to work with students with diverse learning needs , helping them develop confidence and key numeracy skills in a supportive environment. Your Role: 🔹 Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated Maths lessons tailored to students with a range of learning needs. 🔹 Use creative and adaptive teaching methods to make Maths accessible and enjoyable. 🔹 Foster a positive, structured classroom environment that encourages student confidence and independence. 🔹 Work closely with SENCOs, support staff, and external professionals to create effective learning strategies. 🔹 Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) to track student progress. 🔹 Build strong relationships with parents and carers to ensure a holistic approach to student development. Who We’re Looking For: ✅ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. ✅ Experience teaching Maths, ideally within an SEN or inclusive setting . ✅ A patient, creative, and flexible teaching approach. ✅ Strong understanding of differentiation strategies and SEN best practices . ✅ Excellent communication and teamwork skills. ✅ An Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
