Drama Teacher | Independent School in Ascot | Full-Time | Start ASAP Inspire creativity. Shape confidence. Direct the next generation. A respected independent school in Ascot is seeking an enthusiastic and talented Drama Teacher to join its thriving Performing Arts provision. This is a rare opportunity to teach motivated pupils in an environment where the arts are celebrated and strongly supported. About the Role The successful candidate will deliver engaging Drama lessons across the age range, encouraging creativity, collaboration and performance skills. You will contribute to a rich programme of productions, showcases and enrichment activities that are central to school life. You will join a department that values innovation, high production standards and student voice, while maintaining a warm and inclusive culture. What You’ll Be Doing Teaching Drama across KS3–KS5, with potential for examination classes. Directing or supporting school productions and performance events. Encouraging pupils to develop confidence, communication and ensemble skills. Contributing to curriculum development and enrichment opportunities. Working collaboratively with colleagues in Performing Arts and across the school. What We’re Looking For A degree in Drama, Theatre or a related discipline. A recognised teaching qualification with QTS (e.g. PGCE) or equivalent. Strong subject knowledge and a passion for performance and storytelling. Ability to inspire pupils of varying abilities. Excellent organisational and communication skills. Legal right to work in the UK.
