TOP VEHICLE TECHNICIAN / MOT TESTER WANTED
£40,000 – £45,000 Starting Salary + 30-Day Pay Review
Monday to Friday | No Weekends | Weekly or Monthly Pay
About the Role
This is not a role for an average technician.
An established, highly respected independent garage is looking for a top-tier Vehicle Technician with genuine high-end ability to join its professional workshop.
We are seeking someone who:

Diagnoses faults properly — no guesswork

Takes pride in getting it right first time

Works to consistently high standards

Is confident in their own technical ability

What's on Offer

£40,000 – £45,000 starting salary

Pay review after just 30 days

Weekly or monthly pay — your choice

Monday to Friday only — no weekends

8:00am – 5:00pm working hours

1-hour lunch break (13:00–14:00)

4 weeks annual holiday plus bank holidays

Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for:

Servicing and routine maintenance
-
Advanced diagnostics and fault finding
-
MOT testing
-
Complex mechanical repairs across a wide range of vehicles
The focus is firmly on:

Accurate fault diagnosis

Logical diagnostic reasoning
-
High-level mechanical ability
-
Quality workmanship from start to finish
What We're Looking For
-
Proven experience as a high-performing Vehicle Technician
-
Level 3 Motor Vehicle qualification
-
Strong diagnostic capability and logical approach
-
Confidence handling complex repairs independently
-
Pride, professionalism and strong work ethic
An MOT Tester licence would be highly advantageous but is not essential for the right technician.
