A fantastic new job opportunity has become available for an experienced Nurse Deputy Home Manager to work in an exceptional care home based in the Walton-on-Thames, Surrey area. You will be working for one of UK's leading healthcare providers
\n\nA boutique luxury home is a purpose-built, modern facility offering residential and nursing care. Also features a therapy and exercise room and a stunning, octagonal glass public cafe
\n\n**To be considered for this position you must be qualified as a Registered Nurse with a current active NMC Pin**
\n\n
As the Deputy Manager your key responsibilities include:
\n- \n
- Support the Home Manager and deal with the day to day running of the home in the absence of the Home Manager \n
- Alongside the Home Manager, you will manage and have responsibility for all aspects of the service in line with CQC requirements \n
- You will ensure the service users are receiving the highest standards of professional support experiencing life opportunities helping to promote growth and independence \n
- Flexible person as may not always be in the office but would be expected to cover the floor or work alongside the nurses \n
The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:
\n- \n
- Previous Deputy Home Manager experience \n
- The ability to engage with the service users to understand their needs in order to provide excellent services of care \n
- Good working knowledge of CQC standards. \n
- The ability to build and maintain excellent working relationships with external care professionals, families, visitors and staffing teams \n
- Good clinical skills \n
- Promote ownership of care programs by fully involving service users and their families in developing, agreeing and evaluating care programs within the home \n
The successful Deputy Manager will receive an excellent salary of £52,500 per annum. This exciting position is a permanent full time role for 40 hours a week working on day shifts. In return for our hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:
