ROLE: Facilities Coordinator
HOURS: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. 8am – 5pm
LOCATION: Derby

We're looking for a Facilities Coordinator who is responsible for supporting the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of a building by consistently following all Group and company policies and procedures. The role involves promptly reporting any deficiencies in equipment, systems, or service delivery that could affect health, safety, or the environment, and ensuring that all work equipment and personal protective equipment are used correctly and in line with training. A key part of the role is maintaining a safe workplace by raising any health and safety concerns within the building to the line manager and identifying and communicating any training needs required to perform the role effectively.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Be the first point of contact at the reception desk whilst always maintaining a professional and helpful attitude.
  • Report building faults to Mitie Helpdesk and record on the Tracker.
  • Book meeting rooms for our clients.
  • Create/replace/cancel access passes
  • Full walk around of the building at various times of the day to report any building faults, check cleanliness of site and restock consumables

Required Qualifications: applicants must meet the below defined requirements for the role.

  • Experience within a customer service/front of house background.
  • Customer focussed and able to build relationships with our clients and the Mitie team at all levels.
  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • To be able to work individually or within a team.
  • IOSH certificate or willing to undertake a course (required).
  • 1st aid qualification or willing to undertake a course (required).
