Role: In-Person SEN Tutor / Educator

At TP-Tutors, we're looking for caring, dedicated and enthusiastic Educators to provide 1:1 in-person tuition for students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) across Bournemouth and surrounding areas
Many of the young people we support are currently unable to access mainstream education and need someone who can build their confidence, adapt learning to their individual needs, and help them achieve their full potential.
What you'll be doing:
- Delivering engaging 1:1 tuition in students' homes or community settings.
- Tailoring lessons to meet individual learning needs and EHCP outcomes.
- Building positive relationships with students and their families.
- Helping students develop confidence, independence and a love of learning.
We're looking for people who:
- Have experience working with children or young people with SEN.
- Are patient, empathetic and able to build trust.
- Can adapt their teaching style to suit different learning needs.
- Have excellent communication skills.
- Hold (or are willing to obtain) an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
Qualified teachers are welcome, but we also encourage applications from experienced tutors, teaching assistants, learning mentors and other education professionals with relevant SEN experience.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
