Salary – Starting from £26,416 per annum pro rata/ £12.70 per hour (dependent on qualification/s and experience)
Hours - 0 Hours Per Week | Mon-Fri 10.30am-2.30pm (or similar)

We’re looking for an Early Years Assistant to join our Barford Day Nursery. The nursery itself is in an old Victorian school building which has been lovingly refurbished. It is light and spacious, providing a warm, welcoming environment for babies and children. The children have access to the fully enclosed nursery gardens and playground where they are able to safely extend their play and learning.
Their unique Healthy Hearts and Minds activities provide inspirational and engaging learning experiences using the innovative and well established Boogie Mites and myHappymind programmes.

The Role
As an Early Years Assistant, you will work as part of a team to look after babies and children up to the age of 5. You will have adventures with our children through interactive play, activities, reading, and encouraging their curious minds – supporting colleagues with each child’s development towards their key milestones.
What we’re looking for
Previous experience working with children ideal but not essential – Nursery Bank Staff, Nursery Assistant, Teaching Assistant, Nursery Practitioner, Early Years Educator, Nanny, Childminder or similar
Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child
Ability to develop trust and strong working partnerships with both colleagues and parents
Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults
