Are you an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk looking for a busy, stable role within a well-established family-run business?\n

\n We're recruiting on behalf of a successful business in Bridlington where people genuinely enjoy coming to work and tend to stay for the long term. This is an opportunity to join a friendly, supportive team in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.\n

The Role Working as part of the finance team, you'll take ownership of a high-volume purchase ledger, ensuring suppliers are paid accurately and on time while maintaining strong relationships across the business.\n

Key Responsibilities\n
    \n
  • Processing a high volume of supplier invoices
    • \n
  • Matching, batching and coding invoices
    • \n
  • Processing intercompany invoices and ensuring accurate allocations
    • \n
  • Reconciling supplier statements, including manual supplier statement reconciliations
    • \n
  • Investigating and resolving invoice and supplier queries
    • \n
  • Preparing payment runs
    • \n
  • Liaising with suppliers and internal departments
    • \n
  • Maintaining accurate purchase ledger records
    • \n
  • Supporting the wider finance team with finance administration as required
    • \n
About You We're looking for someone who has:\n

    \n
  • Previous experience in a Purchase Ledger role
    • \n
  • Experience managing a high-volume workload
    • \n
  • Confidence processing intercompany transactions
    • \n
  • Strong reconciliation skills, including manual supplier statement reconciliations
    • \n
  • Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach
    • \n
  • Good communication skills and confidence building relationships with suppliers
    • \n
  • Experience using finance systems and Microsoft Excel
    • \n
