As EC&I Engineer, you’ll lead the technical delivery of all electrical, controls, and instrumentation activities while driving continuous improvement across the plant. What Will I Be Doing?

• Lead and supervise the EC&I maintenance technician team, including day-to-day management, performance reviews, training, and skills development (particularly DCS/SCADA).
• Own the DCS system – maintenance, modifications, upgrades, and integration of new equipment.
• Plan and deliver EC&I shutdowns, manage specialist contractors, and ensure robust service contracts.
• Form part of the 24-hour call-out rota (call out is 1 week in 4) and deputise for the Maintenance Manager when required.

What Are the Requirements?

• 7–10 years’ maintenance engineering experience in process, power generation, steam-raising, or heavy industrial environments.
• Extensive knowledge of DCS, SCADA, and PLC platforms (evidenced by OEM or training provider certification).
• Proven leadership skills and experience managing or supervising technical teams.
