Coxlease School are recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to join their Education team on a bank basis! We are looking for a versatile, resilient and committed Teaching Assistant, who can adapt their practice wherever necessary. Dependent on your location, there is the possibility of a role at the Post 16 Skills Centre in New Milton. This role is for bank work, we do also have a full-time, permanent role available.

Coxlease School, located in the heart of the New Forest in Lyndhurst, is a specialised independent school for children aged 9 to 18 with SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) and other related conditions/needs. As a Teaching Assistant, your primary objective will be to provide personalised educational assistance to a specific pupil in need of additional support. Your role will involve building a strong rapport with the pupil, understanding their individual needs, and implementing strategies to enhance their learning experience. You will work collaboratively with the school staff, parents, and other professionals to create a nurturing and inclusive environment that promotes the pupil's overall development and success.

The successful candidate will have previous experience supporting in a classroom setting, have a Level 2 qualification (or equivalent) which is appropriate to the teaching and learning environment of learners and young adults.
