Test Equipment Design Engineer - Production Design Support

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Test Equipment Design Engineer to join our Production Design Support Team. You will play a key role in a range of Engineering activities, providing Test Equipment design support to the Manufacturing organization and broadening your expertise in an international environment. You will act as a Focal Project Lead between our design teams and our manufacturing teams while working alongside other support engineers to provide knowledge and support. The role offers the candidate a true engineering challenge in their core discipline(s), whilst providing scope for personal growth and development in other areas of Electronics. Working within Production Design Support (PDS) is a highly rewarding role as you not only see designs coming to life in the manufacturing environment but you can also help to shape the design of the products and test equipment, delivering support to our customers.Ideally degree qualified (or equivalent industry experience) with experience of designing product/systems and/or providing support to designs through the manufacturing phase of the product lifecycle.Excellent verbal communication, negotiation and influencing skills with the capability to write clear and concise engineering documentation.Investigative skills to be able to find Root Causes of design related issues and propose robust corrective actions.Proven design experience in one or all of the following disciplines:Digital & Analogue ElectronicsPower ElectronicsRF and Antenna DesignInterconnectsSafety ElectronicsRF Test and measurement principle knowledgeTest SystemsOur company:We are proud of the role we play in supporting the Armed Forces who protect our nations.
