A LITTLE ABOUT MYSELF
10 year old boy with ASD living in the Ely area of Cardiff. He is completely non-verbal and so we have begun to use Makaton with him. He is still in nappies and has an oral fixation (but not Pica). He is a very happy little boy who loves to give cwtches and be cwtched! He loves being at the park and the swings are his absolute favourite! I prepare all his meals due to his diet and food sensory issues - he likes you to hold the bowl for him but will happily feed himself. PURPOSE OF JOB Support at home. Taking out and accessing suitable activities. To ensure safety at all times. HOURS OF WORK 6 hours per week during term time and 8 hours during school holidays RATES OF PAY £15.70 per hour TASKS INVOLVED • Keeping me Safe at all Times TYPE OF PERSON REQUIRED
- Someone who has knowledge of ASD would be preferred but not essential.
- Someone who is patient and understanding.
- Someone who is flexible, reliable and trustworthy
- Car driver with own vehicle preferred
