The Role
As a Year 2 Teacher, you will:
- Plan and deliver engaging, creative and purposeful lessons across the Year 2 curriculum.
- Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment.
- Support pupils in developing their confidence, independence and love of learning.
- Monitor progress and use assessment effectively to support individual needs.
- Work closely with teaching assistants, colleagues and parents to ensure the best outcomes for every child.
- Contribute positively to the wider life of the school.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a teacher who is:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experienced in, or passionate about, teaching in Key Stage 1.
- Creative, enthusiastic and committed to delivering high-quality lessons.
- Able to build strong relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues.
- Organised, reflective and committed to continuous professional development.
- Dedicated to ensuring every child achieves their potential.
