Small Animal Vet - Part Time

J673119 Marlborough South West £45K - £65K / Year

Apply Save We are looking for a vet with some experience to join our proudly independent veterinary group.

Small Animal Vet Position

Marlborough, Swindon, Wiltshire

Part time position with some weekend involvement. Full hospital and OOH support and our main site in Swindon.

We are looking for a vet with some experience to join our proudly independent veterinary group.

You'll be based at our thriving Marlborough surgery with an established client base and consistent support staff. Marlborough is a beautiful market town with easy access to motorways and the Wiltshire countryside.

You'll be working alongside owners who are passionate about supporting colleagues as individuals, providing flexible working patterns and structured career development. We have a SPVS Wellbeing Award on our mantelpiece and are passionate about helping you thrive both professionally and personally.

We tell our clients we're big enough to handle anything unexpected and small enough to know them and their family by name - and that's reflected for our team, with the opportunity to learn and grow while feeling part of a family.

As a branch vet you will manage your own medical and surgical caseload, while also having full support and involvement with our state of the art hospital in Swindon. Here you will have the opportunity to work alongside certificate holders in medicine, ophthalmology, surgery and imaging and have access to excellent facilities including CT.

• We have our own OOH team, meaning we can maintain high professional standards of care day and night, but with no OOH commitments for yourself.
• We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills and client care to share our passion for the highest quality clinical standards and client service.
• We are a friendly, sociable and forward-thinking team and have active steering groups involved in our sustainability, clinical standards, wellbeing and social activities.
• We have a staff recognition scheme where nominees can receive both thanks and rewards and we hugely encourage a sense of humour, enjoyment and a sense of community at work!

The package

• Competitive salary based on experience
• Five weeks holiday plus bank holidays
• Unlimited CPD where there is a relevant business need
• RCVS and VDS memberships paid
• Private healthcare
• Workplace pension
• Staff discount
• Employee Assistance Programme
• 100% attendance bonus
• Enhanced maternity pay
