Engineering Administrator
Salary: Starting at £26,000 per annum DOE
Location: Wolverhampton
Contract: Full time/Permanent
About the Role
We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Engineering Administrator to support the smooth day-to-day running of our engineering business. This is a varied role that plays a key part in office coordination, production support, and administrative operations, working closely with engineering, production, and management teams.
Key Responsibilities
Answer telephone calls professionally, take messages, and direct calls to the appropriate person
Maintain and update planning and scheduling boards daily to ensure seamless operations
Manage the ERP system, including component details, enquiries, work orders, and purchase orders
Handle general administrative duties such as email correspondence, creating spreadsheets, and liaising with suppliers
Support filing, scanning, and maintaining accurate records
Manage incoming and outgoing post, deliveries, and courier services
Monitor and maintain office supplies and stationery
Provide support with production planning and coordination
Skills & Experience
Previous experience in an engineering administration role
Strong organisational and multitasking skills with excellent attention to detail
Confident in general administration duties
Experience using CAD software such as AutoCAD is desirable
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Good time-management and organisational abilities
Confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Friendly, professional manner with the ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders
Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities
