Job description

An ambitious and inclusive secondary school in Newcastle is looking for a passionate and dedicated Religious Education (RE) Teacher to join the team this September.

The Role

As an RE Teacher, you will:

  • Teach Religious Education across KS3 and KS4
  • Deliver engaging lessons exploring world religions, philosophy and ethics
  • Encourage respectful discussion, critical thinking and independent enquiry
  • Support students in developing cultural awareness and understanding of diverse beliefs
  • Create an inclusive classroom where all students feel valued and able to contribute
  • Work collaboratively within a successful Humanities department
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school through enrichment opportunities where appropriate
