  • Managing spares and liaising with OEMs and suppliers.

  • Providing hands‑on electrical engineering support where required (approx. 25%).

The Candidate Profile

  • Proven experience in electrical maintenance and project delivery within power generation or heavy industrial environments (essential).

  • Strong experience in retrofit, asset life‑cycle management and modernisation projects (essential).

  • Demonstrable ability to lead projects from concept through to completion.

  • Experience with generators, HV systems, transformers and switchgear testing (beneficial).

  • Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

  • A proactive mindset with confidence to take ownership.

Qualifications

  • Third‑level qualification (Degree / HNC / HND) in Electrical or Power Engineering (essential).

  • Chartered or working towards professional registration (desirable).

  • Power station experience preferred.

Benefits & Rewards

  • Salary dependent on skills, knowledge, experience and qualifications, benchmarked against the market (Very Competitive).

  • Bonus opportunity between 12–20%.

  • Defined contribution pension with 5% employer contribution.

  • Private medical insurance (single cover).

  • Hybrid working – up to 2 days per week from home.

  • Monday‑to‑Friday working pattern – 37.5‑hour working week.

  • 26 days annual leave plus 10 bank holidays.
