MUFG is seeking an Associate Client Servicing professional to join its esteemed Transaction Banking division in London. This appointment presents a rare opportunity to become part of a collegial and supportive team, serving as the initial point of contact for clients across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. The organisation is lauded for its comprehensive suite of digital and proprietary solutions, which underpin a diverse client base with services encompassing cash and liquidity management, foreign exchange, trade, and working capital. As an Associate Client Servicing specialist, you will assume a vital role in ensuring an exemplary client experience by managing enquiries with diligence, resolving issues with care, and discerning opportunities to further enhance satisfaction. The company extends flexible working arrangements, continuous professional development, and the privilege of collaborating with knowledgeable colleagues who are committed to your advancement. Should you possess a genuine enthusiasm for cultivating enduring relationships and wish to contribute meaningfully within transaction banking, this position merits your consideration.

* Become part of a globally respected financial institution whose Transaction Banking business spans continents and offers significant exposure to international markets and practices.

* Enjoy flexible working arrangements and ongoing professional development designed to foster your growth while working alongside experienced professionals in a nurturing environment.

* Play an instrumental role in elevating the client experience by providing attentive support, resolving intricate enquiries, and contributing to the collective success of a team dedicated to service excellence.

What you'll do:

In the capacity of Associate Client Servicing based in London, you will undertake a multifaceted role that offers both variety and intellectual engagement as you interact with clients spanning multiple regions. Your primary objective will be to deliver distinguished support as the first port of call for all transactional banking matters—whether assisting with technical challenges on digital platforms or guiding clients through sophisticated cash management processes. You will work collaboratively with internal partners such as Relationship Managers and Operations specialists to ensure that every enquiry is addressed expeditiously while upholding meticulous standards. By assuming responsibility for each case from inception through resolution, you will not only address immediate requirements but also foster enduring rapport with clients. Your discernment in recognising cross-sell opportunities will directly contribute to organisational growth whilst your unwavering commitment to compliance ensures alignment with prevailing industry regulations. Success in this role is predicated upon your responsiveness under pressure, clarity in communication at all times, and continual pursuit of enhancements both individually and collectively.

* Serve as the principal point of contact for all routine client banking enquiries and matters, ensuring each engagement reflects the highest standards of service.

* Diligently log, monitor, and manage all incoming communications through to resolution whilst maintaining precise records and timely reporting of key performance metrics to uphold service level agreements.

* Assist clients with their daily transactions by investigating and resolving queries or concerns promptly, always managing expectations with empathy and professionalism.

* Respond efficiently to internal requests from front office coverage teams and branches throughout the EMEA region, facilitating seamless interdepartmental communication.

* Engage proactively with corporate client groups in an account management capacity to nurture transactional relationships, enhance overall client satisfaction, and provide considered recommendations for cross-sell or revenue-generating opportunities.

* Oversee all aspects of client user administration including the issuance and completion of documentation for various maintenance requests.

* Collaborate closely with Relationship Managers, Sales teams, Operations staff, and other stakeholders to ensure prompt case resolution while identifying areas for service enhancement or client education.

* Identify potential risks or emerging issues at an early stage by escalating concerns appropriately to ensure swift resolution for clients who may be at risk.

* Contribute to ad hoc projects or initiatives aimed at refining the client experience or improving team service levels as required by evolving business needs.

* Adhere rigorously to internal policies regarding escalation procedures, compliance obligations, process controls, product guidelines, and regulatory standards.

What you bring:

To flourish as an Associate Client Servicing professional within this prestigious financial institution’s Transaction Banking division, you will draw upon substantive experience acquired in prior roles within banking operations or financial services environments where complex client interactions were central. Your comprehensive grasp of transaction banking products—ranging from cash management solutions through advanced digital channels—will enable you to offer tailored guidance responsive to each client's distinct circumstances. You exhibit refined communication skills that facilitate empathetic engagement with clients whilst fostering effective collaboration across internal teams. Your analytical disposition allows you swiftly to appraise situations from multiple vantage points so that you may recommend suitable resolutions or escalate matters judiciously. Adaptability is paramount; you excel when confronted by shifting priorities or urgent demands without compromising precision. Your steadfast adherence to compliance ensures that every action aligns meticulously with regulatory expectations while your scrupulous attention guarantees accuracy throughout each process stage. Above all else, your dedication to delivering exemplary service is manifest in every interaction—rendering you an invaluable asset within this supportive collective.

* Demonstrable experience in a comparable client servicing or operations role within the banking sector or broader financial services industry is essential for this appointment.

* Comprehensive understanding of transaction banking products—including cash management and liquidity management—and familiarity with online banking channels or host-to-host SWIFT connectivity is highly regarded.

* Proven expertise in payments processing (UK Domestic: BACS, CHAPS, Faster Payments; Cross-Border: SEPA, Target2, SWIFT) together with technical proficiency using online banking platforms is required.

* Prior experience operating on a client servicing desk or managing complex client enquiries within financial services will distinguish you from other applicants.

* Japanese language skills (verbal and written) are advantageous though not obligatory; multilingual abilities are welcomed within this multicultural environment.

* Strong analytical acumen combined with effective questioning techniques for thorough problem analysis are crucial for comprehending client needs fully.

* Excellent interpersonal skills that promote collaboration across teams whilst building trust-based relationships with clients at all organisational levels are indispensable.

* Computer literacy—including readiness to learn new software applications relevant to client service—is expected from all candidates.

* A composed demeanour under pressure coupled with exceptional attention to detail ensures accuracy even when managing substantial workloads or stringent deadlines.

* A-levels (ONC/OND) or equivalent work experience is required; degree-level education or equivalent practical experience is preferred.
