Role Overview: We are seeking a skilled On-site Engineer to provide advanced IT support to our customers, either directly or by handling a range of 1st and 2nd line helpdesk support and escalations. This role involves offering support in person, via phone, email, and a ticket management system. Additionally, you'll be responsible for updating our internal knowledge base with resolutions for recurring issues. Please note this is an On-site role in the Watford area. Key Responsibilities: Provide remote IT support to customers, in person, via phone and email Address and troubleshoot escalated issues. Update and maintain our IT customer documentation and internal knowledge base. Offer support and training to junior engineers to enhance team skills. Work full time at one of our customer sites to resolve recurring or complex technical issues. Diagnose issues and guide users through resolution steps or escalate to the appropriate team when required. Required Skills & Experience: Proficiency in Microsoft server and desktop operating systems. Experience with Microsoft O365, SharePoint, Intune, Active Directory, and Teams Voice. Understanding of Networking (IP addressing, DHCP, DNS). Experience with Office 365, Azure, SharePoint, OneDrive. Familiarity with Windows 7/10/11. Knowledge of Anti-virus software (e.g., Sophos). Knowledge of VMware and/or Microsoft Hyper-V. Basic networking skills, including knowledge of switches and firewalls. Previous experience with Autotask, Datto RMM, and IT Glue is a plus.
