At Allied Vehicles, we design, develop and manufacture a wide range of specialist vehicles, including wheelchair accessible vehicles, taxis and minibuses.

As well as manufacturing vehicles, we're proud to provide industry-leading aftersales support, servicing, repairs and maintenance, and we're Scotland's largest independent parts distributor.

We're a successful family-owned business with ambitious plans for the future, and we're looking for a passionate, customer-focused Mobility Advisor to join our growing Sales team.

This isn't just another sales role. As a Mobility Advisor, you'll help customers find the right wheelchair accessible vehicle for their needs, supporting their independence, freedom and quality of life. You'll take the time to understand each customer's circumstances and guide them towards the vehicle that's right for them.

Hours of work are Monday – Thursday 8.45am – 6pm and Friday 9am – 5pm. Our rota includes one Saturday shift every 4–6 weeks (9am-5pm). To support work-life balance, colleagues scheduled to work a Saturday receive the Friday before off.The salary is £13.45 per hour + bonus.

What you’ll be doing:

• Speaking with customers by phone, email and online enquiries to understand their requirements and help them find the most suitable wheelchair accessible vehicle.
• Providing expert guidance on our wheelchair accessible vehicle range.
• Contacting existing customers approaching the end of their lease to discuss renewal options.
• Building strong relationships and delivering an exceptional customer experience.
• Maintaining accurate customer records and information.
• Working towards individual and team targets while identifying every opportunity to help customers.

What we’re looking for:

You'll be someone who enjoys building relationships, thrives in a customer-facing environment and takes pride in delivering excellent service. You'll ideally have:

• Previous sales experience, preferably in a telephone or contact centre environment.
• Outstanding communication and customer service skills.
• A positive, motivated and target-driven approach.
• The ability to build rapport quickly and communicate effectively with a wide range of customers, including those who may require additional support.
• Strong organisational and administrative skills.

Experience within the motor industry would be advantageous, but it's not essential - we'll provide the training and support you need to succeed.
