The Role

As an English Graduate, you could work as a:

• Learning Support Assistant (LSA)
• English Intervention Tutor
• Literacy Support Assistant
• SEND Teaching Assistant
• Learning Mentor
• Cover Supervisor
• Behaviour Support Assistant

You'll gain invaluable experience by:

• Supporting students in English lessons across KS3 and KS4
• Delivering one-to-one and small-group literacy interventions
• Helping students improve reading, writing, comprehension and communication skills
• Supporting students with Dyslexia, Autism (ASC), ADHD and additional learning needs
• Encouraging confidence, participation and independent learning
• Working alongside experienced teachers, SENDCos and pastoral teams

We're Looking For

• A degree in English Language, English Literature or a related subject
• A genuine passion for education and supporting young people
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Patient, adaptable and enthusiastic individuals
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable but not essential
