The Role
As an English Graduate, you could work as a:
- Learning Support Assistant (LSA)
- English Intervention Tutor
- Literacy Support Assistant
- SEND Teaching Assistant
- Learning Mentor
- Cover Supervisor
- Behaviour Support Assistant
You'll gain invaluable experience by:
- Supporting students in English lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Delivering one-to-one and small-group literacy interventions
- Helping students improve reading, writing, comprehension and communication skills
- Supporting students with Dyslexia, Autism (ASC), ADHD and additional learning needs
- Encouraging confidence, participation and independent learning
- Working alongside experienced teachers, SENDCos and pastoral teams

We're Looking For
- A degree in English Language, English Literature or a related subject
- A genuine passion for education and supporting young people
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patient, adaptable and enthusiastic individuals
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable but not essential
