Bell Building Projects (BBP) has been a leader in the construction industry for 40 years, delivering high-performance projects with excellence and integrity. With a strong reputation and a secure pipeline of work through Q3 2027, including over £300m in tendered projects in 2023, we offer an exciting opportunity to join our team at a pivotal moment of growth.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to join our operational team. The role is full-time, permanent, and based on-site, with travel to various locations as required. You will be responsible for ensuring all projects meet the highest quality and compliance standards, with a particular focus on cladding remediation, industrial new-builds, and refurbishment projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement quality control processes and procedures to ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.

  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, architects, and subcontractors to establish and maintain quality objectives.
  • Provide guidance and training to teams on quality assurance best practices.
  • Investigate and resolve customer complaints related to quality concerns, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  • Review and approve quality documentation, including inspection reports and compliance certificates.
  • Monitor and track quality performance metrics, analysing data to drive continuous improvement.
  • Stay up to date with industry best practices, regulatory changes, and advancements in quality assurance.

Requirements & Skills

  • Full UK driving licence (essential).
  • Strong knowledge of the Building Safety Act 2022 and the Golden Thread of Information requirements (essential).
  • Ability to configure and tailor quality assurance systems to BBP’s requirements, ensuring high-quality documentation and instructing others in its correct use (Procore training will be provided).
  • Experience in construction quality assurance or a related field.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and compliance regulations.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong leadership abilities with experience managing QA programmes.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • Relevant certifications in quality management (desirable).

Why Join BBP?

Join a company with 40 years of industry excellence and a strong future pipeline. We offer a competitive salary, a generous pension scheme, income protection, and death in service benefits. Enjoy annual salary reviews, discretionary performance-based bonuses, and 32 days of holiday with a flexible bank holiday scheme.
