Are you passionate about people, detail-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced, supportive environment? Join a leading UK professional services firm as a People Assistant, supporting our Reward & Recognition operations team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic HR function that prioritises colleague wellbeing, recognition, and professional growth.

As a People Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the Reward & Recognition team with a mix of administrative and operational responsibilities. You will be responsible for ensuring smooth payroll processes, managing benefits administration, maintaining accurate records, and delivering an exemplary service to colleagues across the firm. This role offers variety, challenge, and the chance to make a real difference in our workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process payroll accurately and efficiently, respond to queries, provide reports, and support reconciliations.
  • Administer reward and recognition initiatives, including onboarding new starters, updating benefits, and supporting salary review processes.
  • Provide timely administrative support during peak periods, including leave and benefits management.
  • Maintain document management systems, ensuring both electronic and paper records are accurate and secure.
  • Run and interpret management reports, supporting operational decisions.
  • Respond to colleague queries and provide guidance on HR policies and processes.
  • Support wider People Engagement operations, including invoice processing, budget monitoring, and ad hoc projects.

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous administrative experience, ideally within payroll or HR, preferably in a professional services environment.
  • Knowledge of UK payroll legislation and statutory requirements.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Confident communicator, able to interact with colleagues at all levels.
  • Proactive and collaborative, with a mindset for continuous improvement.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Integrity and discretion when handling sensitive information.

To apply for this role, please send your CV or contact Anthony Oliva at Iconic Resourcing for a confidential chat and further details.
