Role Overview

Experienced Technical Architect with a strong background in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and data architecture within the investment banking domain. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in designing and implementing scalable, high-performance data platforms using modern technologies such as MongoDB, Redis, Elasticsearch, and other tools that enable fast data storage, querying, and exposure. This role requires a strategic thinker with hands‑on technical skills and a proven track record of delivering enterprise‑grade solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and design AI‑driven data platforms to support investment banking applications and regulatory reporting needs.
• Define and implement data storage, retrieval, and exposure strategies leveraging technologies like MongoDB, Redis, Elasticsearch, and other NoSQL/relational systems.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, data scientists, and engineering teams to deliver solutions that meet performance, scalability, and compliance requirements.
• Ensure data provenance, integrity, and security across all layers of the architecture.
• Drive innovation in AI integration, including model deployment, inference optimization, and real‑time analytics.
• Establish best practices for data architecture, including caching strategies, indexing, and query optimization.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams.
• Partner with cloud and infrastructure teams to ensure optimal deployment and cost efficiency.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and internal governance frameworks.

Required Skills & Experience

15+ years of experience in technology organizations, with a strong focus on architecture and enterprise solutions.

• 5+ years in a similar capacity as a Technical Architect, specifically working with:
• Redis (caching, high‑speed data access)
• Elasticsearch (search and indexing strategies)
• Other modern data technologies for fast storage and retrieval.
• Strong knowledge of AI/ML integration within enterprise architectures.
• Expertise in data modelling, distributed systems, and microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Excellent understanding of data governance, security, and compliance in regulated environments.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
