Role requires broad knowledge in data architecture and design, with a focus on OLTP, Data Warehouse, Data Reporting, API capability and other database interfaces. Provide technical leadership on data architecture, data integration and data management to ensure Data Product best practices are supported and implemented effectively.Act as a lead Architecture on projectsContribute to the development & management of Data StrategyContribute to the continuous improvement of Architecture within CLSContribute to product roadmaps & reference architecturesProficient in data architecture, engineering, data platforms and analytics with a strong track record of successful projects and in-depth knowledge of industry best practices.Strong Experience in databases (Relational/ NoSQL), Data Integration/ Processing and API designExperience developing and delivering data solutions leveraging on-premises and cloud components (AWS, AZURE).Ability to communicate solutions to other stakeholdersGood knowledge of Risk managementWork closely with other architecture disciplines including Enterprise, Infrastructure and Security, as well Engineering and OperationsProvide technical guidance to team members and stakeholders.Ability to deal with ambiguity and manage diversity.Qualifications:Proven experience Data Architecting solutions.Excellent understanding of reporting and data warehouse systems incl. various industry standard data modelsIndustry recognized certifications (such as Togaf, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) in conjunction with application in previous roles are highly desirable.Experience in Database technologies - MS SQL Server, DB2 , Oracle, Postgres, AWS RDS/ RedshiftExperience in Data Integration - Messaging (IBM MQ) , AWS DMS, KafkaExperience in Data Visualisation - MicroStrategy, Microsoft Power BIKnowledge of authentication methodologies like OAUTH / OktaKnowledge of Operating systems (Windows and Linux)Knowledge of cloud architectures.Ability to assess and recommend third-party tools and services to complement AWS offerings.We are a small company with a big mandate, so every person is essential to our success.
