This is an exciting opportunity to join our Buying Department and grow with our company. Buying experience and logistics experience are desired but full training will be provided. This role requires the successful candidate to be confident and capable working with excel and analyzing data on a daily basis. Keen interest in beauty and cosmetics trends is an advantage.Manage offers and orders for existing suppliersDevelop suppliers for new ranges of products, brands and categories to drive growthProduct research for different marketplaces and develop product ranges for the specific marketplaceComplete regular competitor analysis to ensure our product range and prices are competitiveBudgeting for buyingPurchasing of office and logistics suppliesNegotiating with suppliers to reduce costs, whilst building strong relationshipsContacting suppliers for product availability and lead timesIdentifying savings and business improvement opportunitiesRelentlessly driving purchase cost downAssisting with the accuracy of stock levelsForecasting, allocation and stock replenishment to maximise sales and conversionNegotiation of exclusive offersLiaise with third party logistic companies and dealing with import and export documentsFollowing up on shipmentsMaking sure all products purchased are correctly uploaded on the websiteLiaise with the marketing team to make sure all products are planned in the promotionsWork closely with the marketing team to understand the market trends, sourcing new brands and products based on these findingsAnalyze performance by product type and marketing channel, highlighting any gaps and opportunitiesProducing product performance reports & buying KPIsRequirements:Ability to use own initiative and work independentlyExcellent communication skills to work well with remote teams in UK, Spain and ChinaAnalytical skills are essential, this is an excel heavy role where analyzing data is central to success.You need to be a visionary and understand Unineed's long-term global visonYou need to have strong leadership skillsYou need to be a 'people person' to fit with the company culture and teamPrevious logistic experience is preferred but not essentialStrong commercial awareness, high attention to detail and accuracy in reporting informationAbility to build trust and develop strong relationships both internally and externally #
