Your knowledge and experience of major highways projects and programmes will be important. You will have existing client relationships and experience in these markets and bring the benefit of this to identify, position and win new work. You will provide inspirational leadership, create an inclusive environment across a range of disciplines, and have led delivery on major projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work in a manner that fully reflects market growth potential and positions AECOM as a prime consultant in the region by market share and reputation.

  • Understand market trends and anticipate client needs, positioning AECOM as the best solution provider.
  • Develop and maintain existing client relationships, building trusted advisor status across key clients.
  • Encourage and support a client‑centric approach across the team.
  • Support the Highways team performance and growth targets including: Book to Burn, Sources of Revenue/Pipeline, Net Service Revenue growth.
  • Lead major pursuit proposals with National Authorities including Transport Scotland and National Highways, and construction contractor partners.
  • Leverage the wider AECOM network and other business lines to enhance capability and work‑winning strategies.
  • Set projects up for success and help project teams in the delivery of newly‑won projects.

Inclusive Leadership

  • Demonstrated dedication to fostering a culture of respect, diversity and inclusion.
  • Proven ability to build and retain a diverse and inclusive workforce while nurturing talent development, mentoring and coaching.
  • Collaborated to find the best solutions for clients and supported colleagues in bringing solutions to other markets.

Benefits

Enjoy a range of core and personalised benefits designed to support your future and well‑being, customised to fit your lifestyle. Take advantage of career development opportunities, our flexible hybrid working model, technical practice networks, AECOM University and volunteering days.
