About the Company

The company is a fast-growing, international workplace solutions business headquartered in Europe, with a strong and expanding presence across the UK and EMEA. The organisation works with large, global corporate clients to deliver high-quality, innovative furniture and workplace solutions at scale.

The business is ambitious, dynamic and entrepreneurial, seeking talented, driven individuals who are passionate about growth, innovation and delivering exceptional outcomes for blue-chip clients.

The Opportunity

The company is seeking an experienced and commercially astute Head of Furniture to lead and scale its furniture offering across the UK and EMEA. This is a senior leadership role with full ownership of the furniture proposition, spanning supplier strategy, commercial performance, operational delivery, innovation and international growth.

The successful candidate will play a critical role in shaping the future of the business, building scalable systems and partnerships, and supporting the organisation’s ambition to become a leading furniture and workplace solutions partner for global corporates.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership & Growth
    • Own and deliver the furniture strategy across the UK and EMEA, aligned to ambitious growth plans.
    • Identify and develop new revenue streams, markets and client opportunities within large, multinational corporate accounts.
    • Shape and evolve the furniture value proposition, ensuring it remains innovative, differentiated and commercially compelling.
    • Contribute to wider regional leadership discussions, supporting international expansion and cross-border collaboration.
    • Build trusted, long-term relationships with global corporate clients, acting as a senior commercial and technical authority.
    • Lead complex, high-value furniture projects from early-stage concept through to delivery.
    • Support and influence major bids, tenders and framework agreements.
    • Own commercial performance, including margin management, pricing strategy, supplier terms and overall profitability.
    • Develop and manage a best-in-class supplier and manufacturer network across the UK, Europe and wider EMEA.
    • Negotiate strategic agreements with key partners to support scale, consistency, sustainability and innovation.
    • Stay ahead of market trends in design, sustainability, circular economy principles and smart workplace solutions.
  • Operational Excellence
    • Ensure the furniture function operates efficiently at scale, with robust processes covering specification, procurement, logistics and installation.
    • Work closely with project delivery, design and operations teams to ensure seamless execution for clients.
    • Drive continuous improvement, risk mitigation and performance optimisation across the furniture lifecycle.
  • Leadership & Team Development
    • Build, lead and develop a high-performing furniture team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration and excellence.
    • Act as a mentor and role model, embodying the organisation’s values and entrepreneurial mindset.
    • Support succession planning and future team growth in line with business expansion.

Person Specification

Experience & Background

  • Proven senior leadership experience within commercial furniture, workplace solutions or a related sector.
  • Demonstrable success in scaling a furniture or interiors function within a growing, international business.
  • Experience working with large, global corporate clients and managing complex, multi-site projects.
  • Strong commercial acumen, including ownership of P&L, margins and supplier negotiations.
  • Exposure to EMEA markets and international supplier networks is highly desirable.

Skills & Attributes

  • Strategic thinker with the ability to operate hands-on in a fast-paced, growth environment.
  • Innovative and forward-looking, with a strong interest in design, sustainability and future workplace trends.
  • Dynamic, driven and motivated to build and grow, not just manage.
  • Confident communicator with credibility at board and C-suite level.
  • Highly organised, resilient and adaptable, comfortable with ambiguity and change.

Values & Mindset

  • Passionate about delivering excellence for clients.
  • Entrepreneurial, proactive and accountable.
  • Collaborative, humble and team-oriented.
  • Energetic, positive and growth-focused.

What the Company Offers

  • A rare opportunity to shape and lead a core business function at international scale.
  • Exposure to major global corporate clients and high-profile projects.
  • Significant scope for personal impact, progression and influence as the business grows.
  • A competitive senior leadership package aligned to experience and performance.
