Google Ads Consultant

We’re looking for a talented and ambitious Google Ads Consultant to join our industry-leading team at Chameleon Web Services. As a Google Ads Consultant, you’ll be responsible for planning, delivering, and optimising PPC campaigns across a wide variety of industries. Our clients range from local businesses to global brands, giving you exposure to diverse strategies, budgets, and market challenges.

You will work within a high-performing and supportive marketing team, collaborating with SEO specialists, designers, developers, and account managers to deliver results for leading brand names.

Please note this job is office based and not a hybrid role. Our team made a collective decision after COVID to return to working together in the office full-time. Since then, we’ve seen stronger collaboration, closer working relationships, and faster individual learning and development than ever before. Chameleon Web Services – Office Location

The Head Office is based at 202 Dudley Road, Halesowen, Birmingham, B63 3NR.

• Manage and optimise Google Ads campaigns (Search, Display, Shopping, Performance Max, YouTube).
• Carry out keyword research, competitor analysis, and audience targeting strategies.
• Build, test, and refine ad copy and landing page performance for improved conversion rates.
• Monitor daily performance and make data-driven adjustments.
• Set up tracking, measurement, and reporting (Google Analytics, Tag Manager, conversions, etc.).
• Provide monthly reports with insights, recommendations, and clear performance commentary.
• Work directly with clients to understand goals, budgets, and market opportunities.
• Stay ahead of PPC trends, automation, AI changes, and Google’s platform updates.

Required Skills

• Proven experience managing successful Google Ads accounts (agency or in-house).
• Strong analytical skills and confidence interpreting data.
• A solid understanding of CTR, CPC, CPA, ROAS, and how to improve them.
• Experience using Google Analytics, Tag Manager, and Data Studio/Looker Studio.
• Excellent written communication skills for crafting compelling ad copy.
• Ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines simultaneously.
• Google Ads Certifications (preferred but not essential).
