Join to apply for the Salesforce Development Manager role at PPL PRS Ltd The Salesforce Development Manager will lead a team to design, develop, and implement Salesforce solutions, managing the full development lifecycle, setting technical strategy and a roadmap, and collaborating with stakeholders to align with business goals. The office is based in Leicester City Centre and you would need to be able to commute to the office at least once a week. Ensure successful delivery throughout the Software Development Lifecycle through proactive leadership. Ensure development occurs to a high set of industry standards, minimising Technical Debt, considering security and creating supporting documentation. Manage Deployments following the defined DevOps process and take accountability for Releases and Environments, taking steps to minimise the need for patches and emergency fixes. Contribute to and lead where needed Scrum Ceremonies to ensure the smooth running of an Agile Development Team. Participate in the planning/analysis of business requirements for system changes and enhancements alongside our PMO, Architecture & IT Ops teams. Effectively communicate with the project team, providing updates on progress, risks and time frames. Remain current with Salesforce technologies and best practices. You will have a strong focus on quality solution delivery, take on the difficult and challenging aspects of the role head on, be proactive and make things happen collaboratively. Extensive hands‑on Salesforce configuration & development experience, designing and successfully delivering projects and change at an enterprise level, including upgrades, configuration changes and releases. Working with Agile methodologies and practices, including DevOps/release management experience. Strong analytical skills with the desire to troubleshoot and put quality first. A creative and inquisitive approach to problem solving taking pleasure in getting things right first time. Committed to continuous development of skills and knowledge. Strong experience with the Salesforce platform, including custom development with tools like Apex and Visualforce, as well as Salesforce APIs and integrations. People Leadership (direct and indirect): Proven ability to lead a team, coach, and guide professional growth. Salesforce certifications: Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies. Experience of completing User Acceptance Testing and deployment for complex business processes. Experience with bulk data management tools, such as Data Loader, Demand Tools. Experience of coaching others on system understanding and best practices. Experience of managing system testing teams / resource.
