As part of the Celnor Group, we maintain a family culture where everyone is welcoming, helpful, and open to ideas. We value giving people a voice and creating an environment where colleagues can thrive and develop their careers.

This role sits within the CTSL part of our business, offering the opportunity to work with a dedicated team known for its technical expertise and commitment to excellent client service. Founded in 2006 and based in Leyland with additional depots across the UK, CTSL is recognised as one of the UK's leading specialists in environmental claims management and site services.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their skills in environmental remediation whilst working in a varied and challenging environment. You'll assist with both internal and external building works, undertaking site works, remediation, and reinstatement tasks under the direction of the Multi Skilled Builder, with training provided on the job and opportunities to expand your skill set.

  • Carry out site works under the direction of the Multi Skilled Builder
  • Assist with hand-digging excavation works to facilitate contamination removal
  • Drive machinery and use power tools to carry out intrusive construction works
  • Keep sites tidy, clean and safe, identifying potential hazards and working in a controlled manner
  • Support the maintenance and servicing of equipment, reporting faults when identified
  • Assist with collecting photographs of completed works for documentation purposes
  • Communicate professionally with homeowners and colleagues
  • Travel nationwide to project sites and work away from home when required
  • Follow health and safety protocols, including proper use of PPE
  • Utilise your own initiative, skills and knowledge where appropriate

Essential Requirements:

  • Physically fit and able to undertake a variety of physically demanding tasks
  • Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Can-do attitude with an adaptable approach to work in a varied and sometimes challenging environment
  • Positive attitude with a motivated approach and able to use own initiative
  • Clean, presentable, and well-spoken with strong communication skills
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Willingness to work away from home and travel nationwide
  • Right to work in the UK

Desirable:

  • Previous construction or labouring experience

  • Ability to operate plant and machinery
  • CPCS or plant operator tickets
  • CSCS card
  • Abrasive wheels certification
  • Background in demolition, construction, or landscaping

  • Life insurance (2x annual salary)
  • Company van with fuel card
  • Enhanced sick pay and employee assistance programme
  • Overtime rates available
  • £25 per night tax-free allowance when working away
