GSL Education Hull Branch are currently searching for a Autism Support Assistant to work across a range of inclusive and supportive secondary schools in York. We are looking for a patient, dedicated, and proactive support professional who is passionate about helping students with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and behavioural needs develop confidence, independence, and positive learning behaviours.
Autism Support Assistant Role:
The successful Behaviour Autism Support Assistant will provide tailored support to students with Autism and associated behavioural needs, working closely with teachers and pastoral staff to promote engagement, emotional regulation, and academic progress. We are looking to recruit a Autism Support Assistant who can build trusting relationships, respond positively to challenging situations, and contribute to a nurturing and structured learning environment.
