Job description
We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Business Teacher to join our vibrant educational community in Lichfield. The ideal candidate will have a deep enthusiasm for business studies, a strong commitment to inspiring students, and a proven ability to foster a stimulating and supportive learning environment. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging and thought-provoking business lessons to students at KS4 and KS5. Develop and implement a curriculum that meets national standards and encourages real-world applications of business theory. Assess and evaluate student progress using a variety of formative and summative assessments. Provide constructive feedback and guidance, helping students build strong business skills and prepare for exams. Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes active participation and independent learning. Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices, contribute to departmental goals, and engage in professional development. Maintain open communication with parents and guardians regarding student progress and school events. Qualifications and Experience: A degree in Business, Business Education, or a related field. A teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent). Proven experience teaching business at KS4 and KS5, with the ability to inspire students. In-depth knowledge of business theory and practice, with the ability to relate it to real-life scenarios. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A passion for teaching and motivating students to achieve their full potential. Skills and Attributes: Dedicated to fostering student success and engagement. Creative and innovative in lesson planning and delivery. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
