Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging and thought-provoking business lessons to students at KS4 and KS5. Develop and implement a curriculum that provides real-world applications of business theory and encourages critical thinking, problem-solving, and entrepreneurial skills. Assess and evaluate student progress through formative and summative assessments. Provide constructive feedback to students, helping them build a strong understanding of business concepts and apply their learning to real-life situations. Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages independent thought and creativity. Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the overall success of the business department. Maintain open communication with parents and guardians, providing updates on student progress and achievements. Qualifications and Experience: A degree in Business, Business Education, or a related field. A teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent). Proven experience teaching business at KS4 and KS5 is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of business concepts, theory, and practice. Excellent communication skills and the ability to inspire students to engage with business topics. Experience in delivering A-Level Business or vocational business qualifications is a plus. Skills and Attributes: Passionate about teaching and motivating students to pursue careers in business. Innovative and creative in lesson planning and delivery, making business topics engaging and relevant. Strong organizational and time-management skills.
