Job description
Are you an enthusiastic and skilled Maths Teacher ready to make a significant impact on the academic journey of students in Hereford? We are seeking a passionate Maths Teacher to join a dynamic academic community and teach students from KS3 to KS5. If you have a deep love for mathematics and a commitment to helping students excel, we would love to hear from you! Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver inspiring and challenging maths lessons to students at KS3, KS4, and KS5. Develop and implement a comprehensive curriculum that encourages problem-solving, critical thinking, and a deep understanding of mathematical concepts. Assess and evaluate student progress through both formative and summative assessments. Provide constructive feedback to students, helping them develop strong mathematical skills and confidence. Foster a classroom environment where students feel motivated, challenged, and supported. Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the successful delivery of the mathematics curriculum. Maintain open communication with parents and guardians, keeping them informed of student progress and key developments. Qualifications and Experience: A degree in Mathematics or a related field. A teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent). Proven experience teaching maths at KS3, KS4, and KS5 is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of mathematics theory and practice, with the ability to teach a range of topics across different age groups. Excellent communication skills and a passion for inspiring students to reach their full potential. Ability to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all students. Skills and Attributes: Passionate about teaching maths and motivating students to develop a love for the subject. Creative in lesson planning, using engaging methods to make complex mathematical concepts accessible. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Collaborative, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues across the school. Flexible and adaptable to meet the diverse needs of students.
