Job description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Business Teacher to join our thriving academic community in Solihull. The ideal candidate will have a passion for business education, a commitment to fostering entrepreneurial thinking, and a drive to help students achieve their full potential. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging business lessons to students at KS4 and KS5. Develop and implement a curriculum that encourages critical thinking, real-world applications, and a strong understanding of business concepts. Assess and evaluate student progress through both formative and summative assessments. Provide constructive feedback to students, helping them to grow and refine their business skills. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where students can explore their entrepreneurial interests and business acumen. Collaborate with colleagues to create a dynamic and forward-thinking business department. Maintain open communication with parents and guardians, keeping them informed of student progress and school events. Qualifications and Experience: A teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent). Proven experience teaching business at secondary school level is preferred. Strong knowledge of business theory and practice, with the ability to teach at KS4 and KS5 levels. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to inspire and motivate students to pursue careers in business and develop essential life skills. Skills and Attributes: Passionate about business education and student success. Creative and innovative in lesson planning and delivery. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
