Job description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Maths Teacher to join our team in Nottingham. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire and challenge students across KS3, KS4, and KS5, helping them develop a strong understanding of mathematical principles and apply them to real-world scenarios. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons for KS3, KS4, and KS5 students, covering key areas such as algebra, geometry, calculus, and statistics. Develop a Maths curriculum that fosters critical thinking, problem-solving, and deep understanding of mathematical concepts. Regularly assess student progress in Maths, providing feedback that supports their academic growth and development. Create an inclusive and positive classroom environment where students are encouraged to engage with Maths and challenge themselves. Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the success and development of the Maths department, sharing resources and teaching best practices. Qualifications and Experience: A degree in Mathematics or a related subject. A recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent). Proven experience teaching Maths at KS3, KS4, and KS5. Strong communication skills and the ability to make complex mathematical concepts accessible and engaging for students.
